Our take on The Paper Game
The defining mechanic is controlled tearing across standard paper sheets: each cut must reach target stickers while avoiding hazards, because one mistaken cut ignites the sheet and ends the run.
What is The Paper Game?
The Paper Game is an arcade-style paper-tearing simulation built around mouse-controlled cutting.
Each level uses a classic 8. 5 by 11-inch sheet, with players racing the clock to cut through objective stickers while avoiding ink-like enemies and other stickers. Cutting the wrong object causes the paper to ignite and ends the run. Successful attempts award stars, which open additional sticker packs, paper varieties, and paper-themed puns. The game includes hundreds of themed stickers, changing level challenges, and paper sound effects. Its scenarios require players to adjust their approach between levels while making controlled cuts through the sheet.
How The Paper Game plays
- 01Timed Paper Cutting
- Each run uses mouse dragging to cut through a classic 8.5 by 11-inch sheet before time runs out.
- 02Sticker Objectives
- Levels place target stickers among other visual elements that must be avoided.
- 03Ignition Failure
- Cutting an unintended object sets the paper alight and ends the current attempt.
- 04Star Unlocks
- Successful runs award stars for opening sticker packs, paper types, and paper-themed puns.
- 05Changing Challenges
- The scenarios require a different approach from one level to the next.
