Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking action-focused gameplay may find the collection's point-and-click and text-adventure formats a mismatch

Our take on The Lands of Dream
The clearest bounce point is compatibility: some older entries may not work on certain systems, with Desert Bridge singled out as a particular risk. Players who need every game in a collection to run on their setup may hit that wall before getting to the stories.
What is The Lands of Dream?
The Lands of Dream is a collection of six adventure games in one fictional setting.
Five are point-and-click adventures, while the remaining game uses text. Each tells a separate story in a world connected to imagination, death and change; together, they depict Lord Urizen’s war and the effort to protect Oneiropolis, the City of Dreams. The collection includes The Strange And Somewhat Sinister Tale of the House at Desert Bridge, The Book of Living Magic, The Fabulous Screech, The Sea Will Claim Everything, A Postcard From Afthonia, and The Matter of the Great Red Dragon.
Made with a do-it-yourself approach, the games prioritize design and storytelling over technical polish. Some are now old, and Desert Bridge in particular may not run on certain systems.
