Our take on The Island Story
Plant discovery is tied to entering temperature, humidity, and sunlight values, while each plant's lifespan shapes the island's continuing growth.
What is The Island Story?
Begin with a deserted island containing ruins and rocky peaks, then arrange vegetation, wildlife, and ornamental objects to shape its appearance.
The collection features over 50 plant types, 20 animals, and 30 decorations drawn from multiple continents; ornaments may be piled together and turned. Time advances through a 24-hour sequence with day, night, dawn, dusk, and shifting skies and scenery. Finding plant species requires entering temperature, moisture, and sunlight readings in the world-map exploration screen. Each plant offers approximate values for these conditions. Plants develop through distinct lifespans, reaching maturity before producing new wildlife and vegetation after dying. Fruit and dust generated by living creatures and vegetation can be used for additional exploration and activities.
