Allison died there in 1956 at age nine, and her writings are said to reveal her past and the hospital's disturbing history. The hospital is open to free exploration, with only a single torch available for light. Jump scares and cinematic effects punctuate the investigation as Carter searches for the diary and its hidden secrets. The story is set at Santa Benedetta Martire, a psychiatric hospital that was later shut down and left abandoned.
