Our take on The Future Ends
The focus on direct combat narrows the experience around shooting, aircraft stages, and boss encounters. That emphasis leaves less room for slower exploration or puzzle-led progression, making the game’s structure more mission-driven than broadly exploratory.
What is The Future Ends?
A first-person action adventure follows an experienced soldier investigating a robotics company accused of crimes against humanity.
The mission involves fighting hostile machines, vehicles, and aircraft while taking control of machines that have gone rogue. Ground combat uses several firearms, including a pistol, assault rifle, heavy machine gun, sniper rifle, shotgun, and grenade launcher, along with an electric grenade that can paralyze enemies. Character progression allows additional weapons to be unlocked. Separate air-combat stages place the soldier in an aircraft equipped with a machine gun. Boss encounters serve as mission objectives, with each defeated boss leading toward completion of the assignment.

The Future Ends compared to similar games
Hentai Vs Furries is also a shooting game, but it uses third-person combat, multiple camera angles, quests for skins, emotes, and a main mode plus a separate pleasure mode. The Future Ends instead centers on first-person combat, aircraft missions, weapon unlocking, and boss battles.
