What is The Complex?
The Complex is a live-action interactive sci-fi thriller set in a locked-down London laboratory after a bio-weapon attack.
Dr Amy Tenant, a scientist who works on Nanocell Technology, is reunited with an old friend inside the facility. Choices affect relationships with other characters and can influence later scenarios and the concluding scenes. The game tracks personality through decisions and interactions, then gives a score and a breakdown across five dimensions: openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism. The story has eight possible outcomes. Unlockable features include scene skipping, a personality assessment, and a hidden event. A Pause Choices option is intended for audience participation during live streams.
