Our take on Terminus: Zombie Survivors
The description gives several possible routes to safety, but its central loop is managing action points and survival needs while crossing a generated city. The range of endings does not change that turn-based resource-management focus.
What is Terminus: Zombie Survivors?
This 2D, turn-based survival roguelike follows a survivor crossing a procedurally generated city during a zombie outbreak.
Each move and action uses Action Points, so players must balance searching for supplies against exposure to attack. Survival also involves managing hunger, sleep, and warmth, gathering materials, crafting weapons and tools, and cooking meals. Combat allows targeting different parts of a zombie’s body. Players can encounter other survivors, recruit them, trade, or steal supplies.
The game offers 15 survivor classes, unlockable traits, and upgradeable stats. Routes to an ending include reaching the Terminus, escaping by boat or helicopter, joining survivors, or developing a vaccine. Sandbox settings adjust spawn rates and resource availability, while additional scenarios include Out of Stock, Crowd, and Frozen Zombies.
