Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players looking for a story-led campaign with distinct missions may find the endless upward journey repetitive.
- Players who prefer movement without precision aiming may hit a wall when directing rapid falls at damage zones.
- Players seeking rhythm challenges, map creation, or online multiplayer should look elsewhere.
Our take on TENSEI
The likely sticking point is aiming rapid falls at damage zones. Players comfortable with platform jumps but unwilling to steer a descent toward a target may bounce off this system.
What is TENSEI?
TENSEI is an endless action game centered on repeated leaps and falls through a low-gravity world.
Players use triple jumps to move between platforms and collect Orbs, which can grant Boost Mode. In that mode, the character becomes a dragon with flight abilities for navigating new areas. Players can also aim rapid falls at damage zones to purify them while avoiding damage on the way upward. The game sets this movement and aiming around a journey into the sky through Zen-inspired landscapes.
How TENSEI plays
- 01Damage Zone Purification

- 02Orb-Granted Boost Mode
- Collecting Orbs can trigger a dragon transformation with flight abilities for reaching new areas.
- 03Triple-Jump Movement
- Chained jumps let players navigate from one platform to another.
