Our take on Tell Me Everything
The defining mechanic is deciding which suspect lies to pursue while conversations reveal information and push mood meters toward four breaking points.
What is Tell Me Everything?
Tell Me Everything is a text-based short-story adventure about investigating a murder in the inner city.
As the assigned detective, players question suspects, gather details from conversations, and decide which apparent lies deserve attention. A word-puzzle layer adds a risk-and-reward element to the investigation, while a mood meter tracks four stages at which suspects may break. The first episode, The Porcelain Paradox, includes three case variations.
Each mystery is intended to take around 30 minutes, with the available variations totaling 1–2 hours for a direct playthrough or around 4–5 hours when exploring possibilities. The game uses mouse-driven point-and-click controls, includes hints, and contains 11 calm jazz tracks. Its dialogue is not fully voiced, and its graphics and gameplay are intentionally simple.
