Our take on Taskmaster VR
The open-ended task design trades predictable progression for experimentation. Results can depend on improvised approaches, while Creative Mode adds player-authored challenges rather than a fixed sequence of authored content.
What is Taskmaster VR?
Taskmaster VR places players in the role of contestants completing timed challenges inside the Taskmaster House.
The kitchen, lab, caravan, and garden provide settings for tasks involving ordinary objects, unusual props, and practical tools. Each challenge can have multiple possible solutions, with results shaped by creativity, precision, patience, and the player’s choices. Greg Davies and Little Alex Horne provide fully voiced commentary, including different reactions to success and failure. Scores contribute to an individual journey, while poor performances can trigger unique dialogue. A trophy marks the series champion. Creative Mode allows players to make their own tasks and challenge friends in local play.
