What is Talewind?
Talewind is a very hard 2D platformer about a boy who leaves his village to investigate a mountain where the winds are fading.
Wind shapes traversal throughout the game: players jump, glide, and move through air currents while crossing five worlds with hand-painted environments. The village depends on the wind as an ongoing energy source, but its weakening prompts the journey up the mountain. A free Halloween-themed update adds a separate area beneath the protagonist’s house. It includes one new level, three monsters, an achievement, and the story of the protagonist’s grandfather. This added zone opens after world 1 is completed. The game is presented for experienced platformer players and completionists, with mechanical skill required to reach the end.
