Our take on TAKIBI
The defining constraint is the fire: every night depends on keeping it lit, and one failure ends the run.
What is TAKIBI?
TAKIBI is a survival game built around a day-and-night cycle.
During the day, gather resources; at night, keep the fire lit. If the fire is out when night comes, or goes out during the night, the run ends. Earn points during play and use them to upgrade equipment, then start another attempt with improved survival gear. The goal can be to see how many days the character survives, or to spend time watching the flames. The game centers on these repeated cycles of gathering, tending the fire, and trying again.
How TAKIBI plays
- 01Daytime Gathering
- Resources collected during the day feed into the game's night-time survival loop.
- 02Fire Survival
- A run ends if the fire is not lit by nightfall or fails to keep burning through the night.
- 03Equipment Upgrades
- Points earned in play can be spent on gear before another survival attempt.
