Our take on SwordBounce
The bounce point arrives at the sword-based traversal system. Players must use its rebound behavior to pass obstacles, spike traps, and bullets, so anyone who dislikes precise timing and repeated platforming attempts may stop there.
What is SwordBounce?
SwordBounce is a linear pixel-art puzzle platformer set in strange, seemingly forgotten passageways.
After waking in an unfamiliar place, the player travels downward through more than 150 rooms that become increasingly challenging. A mystical sword provides the central movement mechanic: it bounces against obstacles and can counter spike traps and bullets. Four sword upgrades add further uses during exploration and puzzle solving. The game focuses on precision platforming, with 10 secrets to discover and 10 color palettes to unlock. Its minimalist pixel-art presentation uses four color styles. The rooms form a sequence of platforming and puzzle challenges centered on using the sword to traverse dangerous spaces.
