Our take on Switchcars
The defining mechanic is carrying three vehicles at once and swapping among them during a run, turning vehicle selection into a response to terrain, obstacles, damage, and fuel.
What is Switchcars?
Switchcars is a fast-paced vehicle game set after a teleportation experiment opens dimensional rifts.
Each run moves through changing environments while interdimensional time-whales give chase. More than 1300 drivable vehicles span cars, bicycles, buses, trucks, trains, ships, aircraft, spacecraft, and construction machines, with individual properties including damage, fuel use, and the ability to become stuck. Up to 3 vehicles can be stored and swapped during a run to handle different obstacles. Runs usually last about 10 minutes, with 100 environment lane types arranged procedurally. Progress unlocks environments, years, and vehicles from 1950 to 2055. Vehicles can receive stacked powerups and upgrades. An in-game editor supports custom vehicles and props, while community creations add over 2000 more.
