Our take on SURV
Rather than keeping combat and survival management separate, SURV combines top-down shooting with weather, infection, hunger, thirst, temperature, and basic crafting. The genre departure is the need to manage several survival conditions while exploring an open world filled with zombies.
What is SURV?
SURV is a 2D top-down shooter set in an open world after a large epidemic has devastated the population.
The survivor faces zombies, bad weather, hunger, thirst, temperature changes, ammunition shortages, and infection. Exploration involves searching for weapons, ammunition, and food while confronting dangers across the dying world. A basic crafting system supports resource use, while firearms provide the main combat option. Survival depends on managing food, water, ammunition, temperature, and infection as the outbreak continues to threaten the remaining survivors.

SURV compared to similar games

Unplagued features teams of up to 4 companions, procedurally generated medieval villages, and plague-cleansing, whereas SURV centers on an epidemic survival setting with food, water, ammunition, temperature, and infection management.
