What is Surmount?
Surmount is a physics-based platforming adventure about reaching the summit of Mount Om, described as the highest mountain in the world.
The climb combines handcrafted sections with procedurally generated challenges and routes. Players can choose their own climbing style, play alone, or join a friend through local co-op. Permanent and equipable items can increase the climber’s statistics, while character customization changes the climber’s appearance. Eccentric characters appear during the ascent, each with reasons for traveling to the summit. The Daily Mountain challenge provides a separate climbing challenge for competition with friends.
