Our take on Super Weekend Mode
Players may bounce at the control setup before reaching the action: switching between a keyboard and another controller requires redefining the controls. During play, the three-button multitasking format can also be a sticking point for anyone who prefers single-focus action.
What is Super Weekend Mode?
Play as a princess chasing stolen belongings through labyrinths while catching hearts, crushing bunnies, and shooting enemies.
The game combines falling-block mechanics with shoot-'em-up action across 9 stages, using three main buttons for collecting, shooting, bumping, and crushing. Classic Mode - EXTEND includes a power-up system tied to the number of lives remaining after each stage. Five alternative outfits change gameplay as well as appearance. The game also includes 16 achievements, pixel-art animations and backgrounds, and an 8-bit soundtrack. PS4, Xbox One, and PC controllers are partially supported, but controls must be configured in the Config Menu and redefined when switching to another controller or keyboard.
