Our take on Super Drag Race
The focus on quarter-mile events keeps races centered on tuning and acceleration, but gives up the route variety and race-length variation found in circuit-based racing games. The five-car roster also limits vehicle choice compared with games built around larger selections.
What is Super Drag Race?
Modify and tune sports cars for quarter-mile drag races against AI opponents.
Five cars are available from the start, and a garage lets players change engines, tires, transmissions, and other parts, as well as repaint vehicles. Races take place in three drag-racing areas, with each event covering 402 metres. Race earnings provide money for further upgrades, while improved parts also make the AI opponents more difficult. The main progression loop combines selecting a car, adjusting its components, competing in short straight-line races, and spending prize money on additional improvements. Steam achievements are included, and the stated target is completing a race in under five seconds.

Super Drag Race compared to similar games
Super Drag Race centers on 402-metre drag events, car tuning, paint changes, and AI opponents. Barro instead offers lap-based arcade races, time trials, and split-screen multiplayer, while GRIP: Combat Racing combines wheeled or airborne vehicles with weapons. These alternatives cover broader race structures or combat-focused driving rather than a garage-led drag-racing loop.
