Our take on Strings Theory
The page emphasizes a physics-inspired setting and an impending threat, while the described play centers on switching characters, collecting energy, and solving hazards. The story premise is present, but the specific level mechanics carry most of the detail.
What is Strings Theory?
Strings Theory is a puzzle and arcade game set in the Anomaly, where players guide three characters through levels of hazards and obstacles.
Switch between Telly, who can push objects, Isaac, who can pass through floors, and the Twins, who can separate and rejoin. Collect energy quanta and reach a wormhole to continue. Levels include threats such as trapdoors, moving tiles, and hazards that alter gravity. The game has more than 50 levels and can be played solo or in local co-op for up to 3 players. In co-op, each player controls a different character on one screen, but only one character can move at a time, so players coordinate their moves to solve the puzzles.
