Our take on Stay Safe: Labyrinth of the Mad
The game’s randomized runs and recorded-player encounters trade a fixed, authored progression for repeatable variation. That structure also means each attempt begins with changing equipment and spells, which can make planning across the full 35-floor climb less consistent.
What is Stay Safe: Labyrinth of the Mad?
Escape a subterranean prison by climbing 35 dungeon floors in turn-based roguelike play.
Each session generates a different map, starting weapon, spells, and useful items. Exploration yields loot, trinkets, and gems with added effects. Combat uses ranged and melee weapons alongside spells, with more than 50 creature types. Scrolls can teach spells permanently for later casting from a spellbook. Crafting covers gear, tools, arrows, and other items. Recorded versions of other players can appear as opponents, carrying their previous progress and equipment. Defeating one makes the winner the floor’s champion for future encounters. Leaderboards record gear, level, kills, and survival time. The game also includes offline play, controller support, rebindable actions, colorblind modes, trophies, and achievements.
