Our take on Starship Scramble
Instead of stopping at wave combat, the game adds colony construction and research to the usual action loop. Ship assembly is also central: weapons, crew, shields, and modules shape the battle approach, while destructible terrain turns parts of the battlefield into obstacles, cover, or resource sources.
What is Starship Scramble?
Starship Scramble is a single-player, side-scrolling ship-building game built around battles against waves of enemies.
Players assemble a flagship from more than 100 weapons, shields, modules, and crew members, then modify weapons with over 40 upgrade options. Combat includes 50 enemy types, elite units, high-threat foes, and catastrophic-level opponents across six challenge levels. Asteroids and ore fields can obstruct attacks, be destroyed for resources, or serve as cover. Rescued survivors and collected materials support a colony with houses, farms, and workshops. Colony development also opens research, weapons, modules, and power-ups. The game includes more than 20 core ships with different play styles and destructible terrain.
