What is Starpoint Gemini?
Starpoint Gemini is a science-fiction RPG tactical simulator centered on vessel control and captain skills.
After nearly twenty years inside the Stasis rift anomaly, the player returns to a changed Gemini system isolated by a sealed wormhole. Exploration spans more than fifty sectors linked by T-Gates, with stations, mining sites, anomalies, trade convoys, patrols, pirates, and distress encounters. Players can trade, mine ore, research anomalies, buy vessels, install more than 300 ship systems, recruit personnel, and develop over 30 vessel maneuvers. The game combines a main storyline with scripted side missions and more than 300 freelance assignments. Rank progression opens larger ship classes, while global events affect encounters and commodity prices.
