What is Stardust Origins?
Stardust Origins is a story-driven 2D top-down space adventure with RPG elements and mining management.
After being sent into unknown space by your father, the pilot searches for a way home and a chance to confront him. Explore procedurally generated systems and planets, meet humanoid and alien characters, and take on main and side quests. At planetary stations, trade goods, buy ships, and choose upgrades. Mining can involve asteroid or planetary deposits, or building and managing mining stations with a crew. Other ways to earn money include trading between systems, carrying passengers or livestock, and attacking traders as a pirate while avoiding local enforcement. Ship combat is part of the journey.
