Our take on Starcremental
The game trades direct moment-to-moment control for planning and automation. Actions continue according to a stored order, while Morale limits each run and Mutiny requires a restart. The structure suits gradual optimization, but leaves less room for improvisation during individual missions.
What is Starcremental?
Starcremental combines idle incremental play with roguelite resets.
Each run begins with a chosen Mission, Captain, Crew and Ship. Actions advance story cards, raise Action Speed temporarily, and can increase it permanently when card levels are completed. Missions also raise Maximum Morale, while Actions consume the available Morale until a Mutiny starts a new run. Players can select from 15 Officers, each providing bonuses and penalties to action types, and click Events that alter speed for 60 seconds. Plans record actions for later runs and can be changed, cancelled or reduced. The game includes 10 Mission paths and 10 paths each for Captains, Crew and Ships, along with automation and permanent run bonuses.
