Our take on Star Impact
Rather than moving through separate stages, the game uses one continuous level that changes with difficulty. Its pace also increases as progress continues, making escalation part of the platforming structure.
What is Star Impact?
Star Impact is a single-player platformer starring Stella Striker, a pilot on an interstellar mission involving the rare material Star Impact.
Gameplay combines jumping, dashing, cannon travel, hazard avoidance, ancient aliens, and environmental puzzles. One continuous level changes according to the selected difficulty, while the pace increases as progress continues. Three difficulty settings provide different levels of challenge. Players collect Star Impact while pursuing high scores, and leaderboards record scores and speed-run times. Stella is controlled with two buttons. The game includes an 80s synth soundtrack, unlockable music tracks that can affect play, achievements, and partial gamepad support alongside keyboard and mouse controls.
