Saves you a refund- Players seeking broad strategic systems or open-ended puzzle creation may find the square-assembly structure narrow.
- Those who prefer forgiving progression may dislike setbacks caused by trapping or misplacing pieces.
- Players looking for combat, exploration, or multiplayer mechanics will find a focused logic-puzzle format instead.
Our take on Squarism
The focused square-building design limits variety outside its central puzzle loop. Mistakes can also force a restart or new attempt when a piece is trapped, misplaced, or destroyed, trading forgiveness for precise step-by-step play.
What is Squarism?
Squarism is a minimalist logic game in which players assemble squares from scattered pieces.
Each level starts with one or more controllable fragments that must collect missing parts. Movement and placement can create obstacles: a fragment may become trapped in a hallway, an unwanted piece may be added, or a needed section of the shape may be destroyed. The game presents 70 levels with gradually changing complexity, varied mechanics, and an original melodic soundtrack. Progress depends on learning each level's sequence of actions and avoiding mistakes while completing the required square.
