What is Squarena?
Squarena is a local multiplayer 2D arena shooter for 2–6 players, with single-player challenge modes.
Characters become smaller as they lose health, making them harder to hit and easier to maneuver, while increased recoil makes shooting more disruptive. Players can use teleport and shield abilities, powerups, customizable rules, and physics-based interactions. Modes include standard team or free-for-all battles, basketball- and soccer-inspired sports arenas, Hot Potato, Zero Gravity, CRUMBLE, obstacle races, target practice, and a precision platforming challenge. The game includes varied maps, unlockable cosmetics without microtransactions, and bullet deflection that changes projectile color.
