What is Space Simulator?
Space Simulator models a full-sized Solar System containing the planets and their major moons, with simulated forces, distances, velocities, and time.
The game includes Apollo 11 missions, Space Shuttle missions, the SLS (Orion) spacecraft, and custom free-roam scenarios. Apollo missions cover Saturn V launch, trans-lunar injection, docking, lunar landing, ascent, rendezvous, reentry, and splashdown. Shuttle scenarios include launches, ISS rendezvous and docking, reentry, and landings in daytime and nighttime conditions. Cockpit displays present flight, orbit, surface, transfer, docking, and HSI data. Apollo spacecraft include an emulated Apollo Guidance Computer and DSKY running code from the 60s. Earth, the Moon, and Mars have 3D surfaces based on NASA altitude data.
