Our take on SOULS
The story departs from familiar relationship categories by placing a boy and a monster in a bond that is neither friendship, family, nor ownership. It also replaces a straightforward school setting with a mystery linking campus incidents, the creature’s body, and the boy’s future.
What is SOULS?
SOULS is a visual novel about a boy who investigates a rumor involving a monster called the Human Snake, reportedly found in an abandoned reservoir.
After meeting the creature, the boy develops an unusual relationship with it, outside familiar roles such as friendship, family, or ownership. Strange events begin occurring around the school campus, and the story connects these incidents to the boy and the monster. The narrative follows questions about how their relationship changes the boy’s future, what the Human Snake’s body really is, and what lies behind the unfolding events. Music includes an original soundtrack by Tang Ho Ling, with additional music by Reg@Daybreak EcLipse.
