- Players seeking a purely narrative experience may not want the separate Deathrun and Eternal Sky challenges
Our take on Soul's Majesty Rise of Gilda
The bounce point arrives when platforming difficulty becomes the main test rather than the story. Players who are comfortable following a plot but dislike repeated obstacle attempts, traps, and demanding level progression may stop before reaching later story or boss encounters.
What is Soul's Majesty Rise of Gilda?
Chase escaped souls across fictional realms in a story-based platform game.
The story follows Felis, protector of the spirit realm, as he tracks souls believed to have fled into another world. Progress involves clearing levels, overcoming obstacles, escaping traps, facing characters who may help or hinder the journey, and finding hidden treasures. Throwable knives can be bought for combat, and a special warrior can be summoned. The game includes boss battles and three modes: Story, which follows the main plot; Deathrun, which has players escape Medusa and pursue personal records; and Eternal Sky, which adds cloud-top jumping challenges and another record chase. Levels are offered in Medium and Hard settings, alongside a lower difficulty setting.
