Saves you a refund- Players who want platforming without emotional-state management may hit a wall when Aletris’s anxiety rises and grounding options are needed.

- Players looking for extensive branching narratives may find the outcome structure limited to two endings.
Our take on Social Moth
Players who prefer platforming without emotional-state management may bounce off when anxiety keeps rising and they must find ways to ground Aletris. Those looking for extensive branching may reach the limit at the pivotal encounter, which leads to one of two endings.
What is Social Moth?
Social Moth is a narrative platformer about Aletris, a moth navigating a close-knit forest community while contending with social anxiety.
Players move through the area around Aletris’s lantern home, platform across the environment, collect items, and meet friends who can lower anxiety. Dialogue choices with community members affect Aletris’s anxiety level, which rises over time. If it becomes too high and Aletris cannot find a way to ground themselves, a manifestation of that anxiety appears. The story explores mental health, relationships, and belonging. Fully voiced dialogue, configurable controls, and music that changes with Aletris’s anxiety accompany the journey. A pivotal encounter determines which of the game’s two endings occurs.
