Our take on SNKRX
Direct steering is paired with automatic attacks, so combat decisions focus on positioning and build choices rather than aiming or issuing attacks individually. That trade-off gives the game a compact control scheme but limits moment-to-moment control over each hero.
What is SNKRX?
SNKRX is an arcade shooter roguelite built around a constantly moving snake of heroes.
The player steers the party left or right while its members automatically attack enemies within range. Each hero has attacks, passive abilities, and class affiliations. Combining enough heroes from matching classes grants bonuses that modify the snake. Clearing arenas awards gold for hiring characters from the shop, while purchasing duplicate heroes raises their level and strength. Runs progress through 25+ stages with increasing difficulty. The game includes 40+ heroes, 12+ classes, 40+ passive items that affect the whole snake, and 15+ Steam achievements. Its structure draws on auto-battler ideas while retaining direct steering during combat.
