Our take on Small Saga
Instead of building its RPG progression around grinding, Small Saga frames the adventure as a tightly focused series of boss encounters. Its mouse protagonist and rodent kingdom also place the fantasy quest in an animal society beneath London.
What is Small Saga?
Small Saga is a turn-based RPG set in Rodentia, a medieval kingdom beneath the streets of London, where mice, rats, moles, squirrels, and shrews live.
The story follows Verm, a mouse seeking revenge on the Yellow God of Death after the god steals his tail. Verm teams up with other rodents and battles beasts and titans, including a water vole, a lab rabbit, and a kraken. The adventure also brings him into conflict with the vermin who run society. Combat uses small weapons and strategic, turn-based encounters. Rather than relying on grinding, the game is a tightly focused adventure built around boss fights.
