Our take on Signs Of Darkness
BattleHex is a separate turn-based mini-game accessed only at taverns, while the main journey uses quick-action combat.
What is Signs Of Darkness?
After being kidnapped and left in the Undercrypt, the protagonist is rescued by an unknown ally and sets out to uncover why they were taken.
The journey crosses the Kingdom of Rosenfare, where defeating enemies grants experience and completing quests brings loot that can raise character stats and abilities. Companions can join the journey. Combat uses quick actions, including dodging, jumping, sword attacks, and spells, in dungeons and crypts. At taverns, players can access BattleHex, a turn-based multiplayer mini-game. It supports hosting, joining a friend's game, or playing solo, but is unavailable until reached in the game.
