Our take on SIGNAL
The leisurely pace and small puzzles keep the game focused on atmosphere and recorded story material, but sacrifice the pressure of faster gameplay and the depth of larger puzzle systems.
What is SIGNAL?
Set in 2060, SIGNAL follows John, a technician working on the Atlant space station, which tracks and registers objects in space.
His duties include repairing and maintaining equipment and generators. After the station loses contact with headquarters and becomes isolated, supplies run low and people begin to act unpredictably. John wakes to a serious problem and must find a way to address it. The game presents this horror story through small puzzles and records left by the station’s crew. Its setting, graphics, and sound focus on the atmosphere of Atlant while the recorded entries convey information about the station and its inhabitants.
