Our take on Sideral
The bounce point arrives immediately: there are no instructions or words to explain the first objective. Players who do not enjoy inferring rules from the environment will face the main barrier before reaching the later logic puzzles and island mysteries.
What is Sideral?
Sideral is a wordless puzzle adventure set across the Sideral Islands.
It provides no instructions, so the opening challenge is working out what each area expects. Players then use their own reasoning to solve logic puzzles and uncover the mysteries found in different parts of the islands. The game also includes minigames. It was developed by one person and released in open beta, with the vendor inviting proposals for new puzzles and minigames, along with reports of improvements, bugs, and errors. Sideral focuses on observation, deduction, and independent problem solving rather than written guidance.
How Sideral plays

Sideral compared to similar games
Sideral centers on wordless logic puzzles and discovering what each area requires, while Jusant combines climbing, stamina management, exploration, and action-puzzle challenges. Jusant also frames its play around ascending a tall tower and exploring routes, rather than solving puzzles across the Sideral Islands.
