Our take on Shrink Rooms
The emphasis on more than 300 levels suggests substantial volume, but the core activity remains box pushing under contracting walls. Optional exhibits, hidden levels, and Easter eggs add exploration around the puzzle structure rather than changing its central gameplay.
What is Shrink Rooms?
Shrink Rooms is a puzzle game centered on moving boxes through secret chambers while the surrounding walls contract on each turn.
Players must observe the timing of each contraction, plan routes, avoid pits and traps, and activate mechanisms to open gates. Levels include signal pressure plates, polymers, portal walls, anchor crates, and clickers. The game contains more than 300 levels across five themed chapters. A level-selection area allows free movement, with computing power points from main challenges unlocking later chapters. Optional exploration includes virtual exhibits, hidden levels, and Easter eggs, including exhibits featuring black-humor memes. Some difficult puzzles are placed in the corners of the selection scene.
