Pilot Hawk and her robot parrot companion on an airship journey through the Seven Skies in search of Paradise and Hawk’s missing father.
Wind direction affects the airship’s speed, making travel and maneuvering part of the challenge. During dogfights, the recoil from shots and the wind can be used to evade enemy bullets. Each sky brings a new world and a new challenge to solve. The story follows a human tradition of sending two sailors each year toward the Seventh Sky, a legendary place said to contain everything people have wanted. Hawk’s journey also forces her to question her beliefs and leave parts of her past behind.
