Our take on SECTOR ZERO
The bounce point arrives when the station's defenses become the core obstacle. Players expecting direct combat may stall at the need to manipulate human technology, avoid lasers and turrets, and use physics-based interactions to advance.
What is SECTOR ZERO?
Awakened by human extraction work inside asteroid 2031 XT, an old collective entity begins expanding across a vast space station.
Human settlers hold separated sections with lasers, turrets, and automated defenses. The creature moves by leaping, scaling surfaces, and squeezing through confined passages in carefully made environments. Progress blends sneaking, traversal challenges, and puzzles governed by physical interactions. Human devices can be corrupted, their purposes redirected, and station equipment turned against the systems protecting the colony. The central narrative takes about 1 hour, followed by 2 more hours of hidden discoveries and achievement hunting. Gamepad controls and Steam Deck compatibility are available.
