CasualIs Scribble Bots worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Friends who want competitive party matches with local or online multiplayer
- Creative players who enjoy testing how custom designs behave under physics
- Casual groups seeking several short-form game modes rather than one campaign
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking fixed character abilities may hit a wall when robot performance depends on their own drawing
- Groups wanting a single focused ruleset may find the collection of modes and maps too scattered
- Solo players looking for a single-player campaign are not the target audience
- Players uninterested in designing and iterating on robots may have little to do before matches
Our take on Scribble Bots
The bounce point arrives during robot construction: a drawing that looks good may behave poorly once physics takes over. Players who do not want to test, revise, and balance a custom shape may lose interest before reaching the multiplayer modes.
What is Scribble Bots?
Draw custom robots in this 2D physics sandbox party game, shaping bodies and limbs freely before adding visual decorations.
The physical design influences movement and handling during online or local multiplayer. Up to four participants can compete in soccer, racing, territory-control, combat, concealment, and coin-gathering modes. More than 15 maps and over 10 powerups, such as thrusters, wheels, and rocket launchers, provide different ways to modify play. A shared lobby allows robot testing, while hats and other cosmetics offer additional customization. Completed robots can also be exchanged using copy-and-paste.
