Our take on Scrap Galaxy
The round-based format makes ship construction part of each match, but limits play to a sequence of timed builds and battles. That focus leaves less room for a continuous campaign structure; the listed co-op content is organized into 10 levels.
What is Scrap Galaxy?
Scrap Galaxy is a local multiplayer, 2D top-down shooter for 1 to 4 players.
Each round has a timed build phase, where players assemble ships from components, followed by a battle phase. Players can fight one another or work together against garbage drones. Deathmatch ends when one player remains, while Scrap King lets a winner keep a ship and continue modifying it. In co-op, players keep building their ships between waves of enemies. The game has 3 game modes, 3 deathmatch rule sets, 6 maps, 10 co-op levels, and 11 ship components. Bots can fill empty player slots. Gamepads are recommended; two players can share a full-size keyboard.
