Our take on Sakura MMO
Its focus on narrated scenes and character relationships trades away the active combat and system-driven play found in many RPGs. The story prioritizes Viola’s perspective and interactions rather than broad control over progression or varied gameplay activities.
What is Sakura MMO?
Sakura MMO is a fantasy visual novel about Kotone, an ordinary worker dissatisfied with her repetitive life and strained relationship with her parents.
A mysterious force summons her into Asaph Online, where she awakens as Viola, the dark witch from her game character. Kotone takes on Viola’s name, appearance, and magical abilities while exploring the world she previously experienced through a computer screen. The story introduces Neve, a devoted maid from the darkling race, and Fion, a young woman supporting her large family. As Viola, players encounter the inhabitants of Asaph, accept quests, form relationships, and experience a world filled with fantastical creatures and frightening monsters. The visual novel is available in English and Chinese.
