Our take on RYBot
Its focus on color manipulation gives the game a clear central rule set, but that focus limits the range of puzzle themes. The stages revolve around changing, filtering, mixing, and matching colors rather than presenting unrelated challenge types.
What is RYBot?
RYBot is a puzzle game about restoring a network of machines across multiple islands.
It includes 40 levels that combine color mixing with mechanics introduced throughout the game. Players collect Color Batteries to change the robot’s color, then combine primary colors to produce secondary and tertiary colors. Gates can be opened by matching their required color. Color Filters remove a color from the robot, while Invert Switches change all colors in a level to their complementary colors without changing the robot. The game presents these systems as a casual puzzle experience focused on applying color theory and solving progressively changing challenges.
