Rotund Rebound is a retro platforming adventure set across nightmare worlds, where players rescue friends and confront the shadows.
Levels feature interactive maps, optional paths, and locations to explore. Rescued characters become playable, with each offering a distinct ability. Boss battles use bouncing as the only weapon. Instead of difficulty modes, each level presents three routes corresponding to different challenge levels. Handcrafted stages include Time-Attack play for speedrunning, while rapid respawns return players to the action after failure. The game uses one-handed controls and includes a chiptune-infused soundtrack by Jarrel Lanchester.
