Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a broad range of gameplay types may find the focus on defending against monster attacks limiting.
- Players who expect to use base objects without completing additional objectives may hit a wall when they must rescue survivors and transport supplies.
- Players looking for survivor-group management or crafting as central systems may find those activities outside the stated focus.
Our take on Rotten Tide
The specific friction point is using base objects: players must rescue a survivor and transport a supply item before using objects such as turrets. Anyone expecting to deploy defenses immediately may hit this extra objective first.
What is Rotten Tide?
A horizontal 2D tower defense game about protecting cities around the world from monsters whose appearances and abilities vary by country.
Tetra Force sends agents to fight the creatures and rescue survivors. The roster includes more than 20 agents with different characteristics and individual skill trees. Players collect Credits to upgrade agent skills and choose teams for the enemies they face. The Tetra Force base has objects such as an Agent Producer and turrets. To use these objects, players must rescue survivors and transport supply items themselves. How players use the objects affects stage difficulty, alongside their choices of agents and skill upgrades.
