Our take on Rooms: The Main Building
The bounce point arrives when movement and room shifting must be coordinated from the character’s current tile. Players who expect to rearrange any section freely may hit a wall there, especially once telephones, explosives and flooded rooms add further dependencies.
What is Rooms: The Main Building?
Rooms: The Main Building is a point-and-click puzzle adventure built around sliding-room mechanics.
Across more than 100 rooms, the character walks between tiles while only the tile beneath them can be moved. Each level requires planning a route to the exit by rearranging sections of the room. Telephones can transport the character across a room, explosives can remove brick walls and other obstacles, and water-filled areas require pumping. Completing a puzzle awards four golden pieces needed to find a way home. Rooms Street and Rooms Mansion provide additional areas with non-player characters, useful objects and other interactions. The game also includes levels originally exclusive to Wii and DS.
