Our take on Room to Grow
The central rule is that growing into a wall shifts the cactus in the opposite direction, turning growth itself into a way to reposition and solve plant-pushing puzzles.
What is Room to Grow?
Room to Grow is a puzzle game built around controlling a growing cactus.
Growth moves the cactus, and growing into a wall shifts its body in the opposite direction. Use these movements to push plants, get around obstacles, and position the cactus for later moves. The game contains over 100 handcrafted puzzles, with new mechanics introduced across different worlds and interactions between those mechanics to explore. There are no timers, action elements, or move counters. Players can undo moves, restart puzzles, or skip puzzles. The game also includes an original soundtrack, remappable controls, a high-contrast mode for key game elements, and an adjustable input-repeat delay.
