We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Roguelite players who want dice-based deck construction
- Strategy players who enjoy building combinations within a six-dice limit
- Players who prefer changing dungeon layouts and encounter sets
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking large decks may find the six-dice limit restrictive.
- Players looking for fixed levels and predictable encounters may not enjoy the randomly generated dungeon structure.
- Players wanting a non-combat puzzle or party game may find dungeon battles too central.
Our take on RogueDiceR
The six-dice limit keeps deck construction focused, but leaves less room for storing varied combinations. Randomized dungeons add changing encounters while giving up a fixed, predictable route through the game.
What is RogueDiceR?
RogueDiceR is a roguelite dice-builder centered on a deck of six dice.
Players buy randomly generated dice, modify their values, attach up to two stickers for special effects, and collect artifacts that affect the whole deck. Exploration takes place in randomly generated dungeons containing monsters, events, mobs, and bosses. Some encountered characters may become allies. Battles use playable characters with distinct artifact effects. Enemies include bunny girls, milkshake slimes, ninjas, and magical girls, with characters displaying different personalities, behaviors, and art styles. The game combines dice purchasing, deck construction, character selection, and dungeon exploration across changing encounters.
