Our take on Rogue Command
Players who want a stable build may bounce off the post-battle drafting system: blueprints, upgrades, and hacks change the tools and rules available as a run unfolds. The loss condition also makes the Engineer a pressure point, since losing that unit ends the run.
What is Rogue Command?
Rogue Command is a single-player real-time strategy game with roguelite run progression.
Each run involves controlling units, constructing a base, gathering resources, exploring the map, defending positions, and planning attacks. Time can be slowed to 10% to issue orders during intense battles. After battles, choose blueprints that add buildings, upgrades that alter units, or hacks that change game rules. Before a run, select an Engineer, economy models, and a Specialist, each affecting command, resource production, or combat. Runs unlock more options, while archive tokens buy permanent improvements in a skill tree. The game includes 15 Ascensions with bosses and infinitely scaling Heat Levels.

Rogue Command compared to similar games
Creeper World 4 is also a real-time strategy game, but its described enemy is a fluid and its economy centers on energy and mined wares; Rogue Command adds run-based choices that modify units, buildings, and battlefield rules. Until We Die focuses on defending an underground subway base for about 30 game days, while Rogue Command centers on RTS base-building and army command across changing runs.
