Riptale is a 2D action roguelike built around demanding, aimed sword fighting.
Players gather arcane gems, arrange attacks in their preferred sequence, then target foes with a gamepad’s analogue stick before striking. Gems need time to recharge, so players must plan their attacks while facing ancient dragons, mystical cultists, and bosses. The journey leads through shadowy crypts, forests below ground, and caverns filled with mushrooms. Books let players piece together the past of a civilization buried there. Completing challenges and achievements unlocks pets, scarves, and trinkets. An energetic soundtrack accompanies the action.
